Lenovo may have pulled out of the gaming smartphone business, but that doesn’t mean the brand is giving up on handheld gaming. A new series of images shared by Windows Report showcases the upcoming Lenovo Legion Go gaming handheld rumored to arrive as a competitor to Asus’ Steam Deck and Asus’ ROG Ally.
Lenovo Legion Go
Lenovo is inspired by Nintendo Switch with detachable controllers on each side with RGB lighting around the two joysticks. The right controller also has a trackpad which would be great for navigating the Windows 11 interface. The device is speculated to use AMD’s Ryzen 7040 “Phoenix” series chipset.
Lenovo Legion Go will come with detachable controllers
The Legion Go is said to offer an 8-inch touchscreen with rather thin bezels, though there’s no mention of resolution or refresh rate as yet. The I/O is pretty impressive with a microSD card slot, headphone jack, power and volume buttons, and a USB-C port on the top of the device. The bottom houses a secondary USB-C port.
Lenovo Legion Go back
The back of the device features a built-in kickstand with Legion branding and what appears to be a heat sink above it.
