Hi bro :) .. I have question.
I learn modding and this is my firs time. I want to remod moded game (for example to make it stronger. 5x damege to 10x damage). My idea is to compare between the original apk and moded apk. By comparing, i know which part of the code that wes changed. After finding i just recode the moded apk. What do you think? Is that a better way to mode for me that is very beginner modder?

This is a bad way, and it's actually stealing others' mods. If you want to make a "stronger" mod, then mod it completely by your own, not just by changing 5 to 10 from some other people's work who spent hours or probably days on it.

Yes sir that is bad if you don't ask permission. because it is stealing people's hard work. And of course it is prohibited. :)
I dont know what to start modding. :’( So that methods is just for learning to get more understanding for beginner modder. ;)
And i think we will not be able to do something without knowing how people doing on something. B-)

You know something by studying and learning, not by stealing others mods to scrape their methods. This is the reason for the countless tutorials we have in the Android Modding University.

Man that's a terrible way to start modding. I thought of that too, but to be honest, you won't learn how to mod. Modding involves hard work, searching for the odds and exploiting em. But you have dig deep and with that, you can release a mod of the same app but with a different mod cuz you searched for it

I get both sides. As someone with aspergers syndrome I have to admit seeing what someone has changed and how allows me to figure out the why and how they came to it. The issue I would see would be taking the credit or even sharing it with another.

I've done similar in the past when I learned basic, html, php, css etc.

By taking snippets and putting them together I was able to understand what went where and why. Until I could write my own code from scratch. I think It taught me to read and decipher code better too.

However as mentioned it was never done to for glory, was never published etc but did give me a feeling that I could do and understand it enough to be able to continue learning.

I find if I can't get to basic grips of something quickly, I lose interest even quicker. I assume its down to my aspergers.

That said the game I'm wanting to mod hasn't been modded elsewhere so I'm just going to have to poke around and see if I can either figure it out or avoid smashing the pc. Either way is a win 😂
