The Samsung Galaxy F42 is the latest smartphone from the Korean company to receive One UI 5.0 based on Android 13. The rollout has just started in India which is the main market for the phone. Notably, the Galaxy F42 is a rebranded Galaxy A22, 5G that also got One UI 5.0 in Europe.
The new firmware version is E426BXXU3CVKC and if you are in India, you can try manually checking for an update.
Unfortunately, this is the last major update for the Galaxy F42 as it was released in early 2021 and has received two Android updates so far. From now on, only security updates await for the next year or so.
