First there was the Exodus, when survivors of a great war left the ruins of the Galactic Core in search of a new home among the stars. Scattered worlds have been claimed at the edge of the galaxy. Each group of survivors clung to an isolated group of worlds as they attempted to rebuild them according to the great law of Shalun. Three centuries later, technology has brought them back together. The discovery of hypercurvature has bridged a once unimaginable gulf between distant colonies, long-lost families, and political factions.
With this reunification came great economic prosperity. Hyperwarp restored the movement of goods, commodities, and technology between the quadrants, but it also caused major conflicts. Political rivalries were reignited, blood was spilled in age-old feuds, and the fires of war were stoked. In the midst of political infighting, a ruthless revolution is brewing, and passionate hyperwarp explorers have awakened something better that was left dormant.
Our very first game, Star Traders RPG, took hundreds of thousands of players on an interstellar adventure. The success of Star Traders and the overwhelmingly positive response helped launch Trese Brothers Games. It was the adventures of our community's hapless captains that set us on the path to sharing more of our worlds, ideas and dreams.
We set out to capture the loneliness, courage and camaraderie of people living together in a spaceship sailing across the stars. We are very proud to have created a sequel to the original Star Traders RPG after releasing four more games in the Star Traders universe.
