Try memu or change the device type in setting in nox for a phone and not a tablet

Same issue for me. I was at episode 8 of Life 2.0, when suddenly it asked to refresh the content and I had to start over from episode 1. Then when I tried to start episode 2, it asked to refresh the content again. Rinse and repeat. It was nice while it lasted though.

It happened the same for me they found out about the mod and are erasing progress :/
