Reviewed Device: Xiaomi Mi Max 2 - 4GB Ram 64GB Internal Memory
Brief Description: It's a budget device that has been working without a hitch for 2 years. Its software updates are sometimes very annoying, but sometimes a blessing. Users must always keep in touch with Mi Community via its official forum to know and fix bugs.
Performance:
Camera:
Quality:
Price:
Things I like:
Its super long-lasting battery doesn't shorten its lifespan even now. I still play 3D games, watch videos for hours, but the device can still last at least while I'm awake. At most times, it lasts longer too .
The sharp resolution on this phone is pretty spectacular even if I compare it to expensive phones from Samsung or Apple. Watching Ultra HD of Netflix or play demanding 3D games still impressed me to this day.
Things I don't like:
The sensitivity is rather low. I couldn't play super difficult modes of rhythm games on this. It failed for Uta no Prince-sama, Cytus series and other similar games.
Xiaomi software updates suck by the way. The screen recorder function was muted for a really long time and couldn't be recovered without a new updates. Recent update removed the automatic age detection in the inbuilt camera app.
Overall Ratings:
Verdict: Definitely, if you want a budget phone that's good enough for gaming.
