Xiaomi’s Mix Fold range is expected to get a new member later this summer with the Mix Fold3. The upcoming device is said to carry a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and a periscope camera, as well as a waterproof body with an appropriate IP rating. Reliable informantDigital chat station has now shared its latest set of leaked specs on the Mix Fold3 and they hint at an under-the-display (UD) camera on the main foldable screen which is something that was missing from the first two generations of the Mix Fold.
The new leak also confirms previous reports of a 5x periscope lens, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, and 50W wireless charging. The news is that Xiaomi may also be working on an Explorer Edition concept foldable phone that could be introduced alongside the Mix Fold3. For now there are no concrete details on the next Xiaomi concept phone. Xiaomi is expected to launch the Mix Fold 3 in August.
