This is the Tecno Camon 19 Pro, which was announced at Rockefeller Center in New York just last month.
It’s a great package for a great price, equivalent to $ 210, although limited availability means not everyone will be able to get it at that price.
The phone ships in a well-equipped box with a 33W charger, USB cable, 3.5mm earbuds and a carrying case.
We have both the Camon Premier 19 Pro and its stable mate, the 19. Both have 6.8-inch IPS LCDs with 1080p resolution, but the Pro refreshes to 120Hz, while the vanilla model does the 60Hz standard.
Both phones have a 5,000mAh battery, but the non-Pro is capped at 18W, while the Pro goes for 33W.
The Camon 19 Pro model we got at HQ is 8 / 128GB in Eco Black. It has some key features: it’s the world’s first phone with a 64MP RGBW sensor, manufactured by Samsung, and claims to have the “thinnest bezel in the industry” at just 0.98mm.
We cannot vouch for the latter, but in our review we will subject the main camera to a thorough test.
