A mysterious HTC device has surfaced online with loads of live photos and some hardware information. The following trio of model numbers are mentioned: 2QC9200, 2QC9100 and 2QCB100, as well as a potential name for the device: HTC U23 Pro 5G.

Some of the spec highlights include an AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. The phone is also said to have a 108MP main camera with OIS and a total of four cameras on the back. It is powered by a 4,600mAh battery with wireless charging and appears to be running Android 13. Also on the specs list is a 3.5mm audio jack placed on the top bezel of the phone.

The source also mentions that the back cover and mid-frame of the device are made of plastic. We can also see a photo of the phone’s power button, which doubles as a fingerprint scanner.

By all accounts, this appears to be an engineering unit in the very early stages of development, so anything regarding pricing or availability would be pure speculation at this point. Hopefully the U23 Pro will eventually hit the market.
