PS5 horror game "Seinfeld" gets a trailer and a Patreon campaign

Sinfeld Remastered is an upcoming horror game inspired by the immensely popular sitcom Seinfeld. The game’s announcement trailer gives us a deeper look at what this title is all about.

This indie game from RareBird Games has had an interesting development cycle. It started with Sinfeld Chronicles, a fan-created horror parody released on the game creation platform Dreams for PS4 in February 2020. The game featured Donathan, Jerry Seinfeld’s grandson, in a surreal horror world that explores locations inspired by Jerry’s apartments. and Kramer.

It has proved popular enough to warrant a standalone PlayStation 5 game, and developers are currently looking for money from fans via Patreon to make it happen.

But what is the game about? The logline reads: “Sinfeld Remastered is an action horror comedy parody with various play styles inspired by Resident Evil, Silent Hills and PT. DONATHAN IS BACK on a new adventure! Join Donathan as he survives the streets after his father foster left him around 3 am in the Big Apple, and finds himself trapped in an endless cycle of nightmares as he struggles to find a bed to sleep in.
