Good news for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare fans. The game received three surprise maps and some other features that are sure to please both veteran fans and newbies alike.
Arguably, the most important new map is Killhouse. Of course, “new” is relative – this map was first introduced in the original 2007 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Other new maps include Drainage (perfect for shorter games and more intimate combat) and Al-Raab. Airbase (which is larger).
Unfortunately, there is a small problem: there is no special playlist for Drainage or Al-Raab Airbase, which means that the only way to experience these maps is through private matches. The fan-favorite Killhouse, however, has its own 24/7 Mosh Pit playlist.
It is not known when the other maps will receive their playlists. But these new maps are accompanied by major game updates that have done everything from reducing the exorbitant size of the game file to the nerfing of the AUG tactical rifle.
Additionally, there are new kill streaks to discover, including Foresight and Bombardment. So, there is some new material to enjoy as you check out these new maps with your friends.
