Capcom released a new Monster Hunter Rise trailer during today’s livestream event, detailing a number of new additions to the franchise.
According to the trailer, players will be able to battle a variety of new types of monsters never before seen in the series. This includes Goss Harag, Barioth, Tigrez, Great Saggi and Khezu.
The trailer also shows some of the locations that will be featured in Monster Hunter Rise. The most notable region is the Frost Islands, although other areas were also briefly shown during the cutscene.
However, the biggest change to gameplay comes in the form of monster riding, which allows players to use silk to jump over and control one of the creatures. They can then be used to fight other flying wyvernas in the skies.
Monster Hunter Rise will arrive on Nintendo Switch on March 26th.
