Tiktok’s future in the United States is once again uncertain. On April 5, the extension of President Trump to the law “sell or prohibited” expires, so if the US operations of Tiktok have not been sold since then, it will be prohibited again, as in January for January for some short days when President Biden has passed the witness to President Trump.
And now in the eleventh now a new bidder is entering the fray: Amazon. Jeff Bezos’ Behemoth presumably made a last minute offer, one that according to reports, the Trump administration officials are not seriously taking into consideration. It is certainly an interesting turning point.

Apparently Amazon contacted vice -president JD Vance and the secretary of the Howard Lutnick trade on the offer. Amazon surprisingly refused to comment.
Other offers for Tiktok have been made by a group that includes YouTuber Mrbeast, another including Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian and even perplexity Ai, who wants to integrate Tiktok into his search engine. There is also Oracle. All in all a rather eclectic group of bidders.
President Trump announced that he could extend the deadline for an agreement, if necessary, so maybe nothing will happen this week. We will just have to wait and see.
