It’s time to unbox the new Apple iPhone 15 Pro (we’ve already done the Max). Just like the larger phone, the Pro comes with a single item: a USB-C cable. As far as these go, this is a quality braided unit.
Before we get back to the inevitable comparisons to the Pro Max, let’s take a laudatory look at the new iPhone 15 Pro. Maybe it’s the years before the sleek, razor-like iPhone Pro models, but the new slim, slightly curved device feels distinguishable in a positive way.
Weighing about 19 grams lighter, it also feels like a smaller phone than before. We can thank Apple’s choice of titanium and aluminum alloy here. The new material also brings a matte finish, which is nice.
Coming back to these comparisons with the Pro Max, you get some benefits in a big way: larger display and battery, which means better media consumption for longer, although we’ll test both thoroughly in our review.

But there’s also the new 5x telephoto lens, which goes well beyond the 3x of the 15 Pro. Focal lengths, like the size of the phone, are subjective however, some people might simply prefer the smaller zoom of the smaller iPhone.
