Google Pixel 7 Pro now shares the highest overall score DxOMarkranking of cameras with an overall score of 147. The Honor Magic4 Ultimate was the other phone to match that score. The iPhone 14 Pro only came a little way, but it topped the ranking of selfie cameras.
According to DxOMark, the Pixel 7 Pro is a significant improvement over the Pixel 6 Pro in software optimization, which has helped improve zoom and video quality. It holds the highest score DxOMarkFriends & Family use case with strong contrast retention, skin tone reproduction and better exposure accuracy.
Autofocus is fast and accurate and, in combination with face detection, works well with group photos and moving subjects. The improvements to Super Res Zoom are noticeable thanks to a new capture method that also uses information from other cameras to gather more detail in the final shot.
Low-light videos tend to be underexposed, and testers experienced a loss of detail and added noise when zooming in at close range.
The selfie photos and videos had natural skin tones and accurate exposure. However, close-up selfies tended to be blurry, and visible noise was present in low-light conditions.
