It’s a new day, which means it’s time for more Pixel leaks. Google may have tried to prevent full-blown leaks about its upcoming devices by holding its annual launch event two months early in August, but that clearly didn’t work at all.

After yesterday’s barrage of Pixel leaks, today we have a bunch of new leaked promotional materials, leaked promotional videos, and leaked official cases. So let’s dive in.

Google Pixel 9 Pro Cases and Official Promo Material Leaked

Official Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL cases have leaked. The former will have silicone cases in Charcoal, Porcelain, Hazel, Rose, and Aloe. That last one is odd because the Pixel 9 Pro itself isn’t expected to come in Aloe.

Moving on to the XL model, the cases will be available in the same colors as the Pixel 9 Pro, except for an Aloe variant.

A promotional video for the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL was later released and posted to YouTube, but has since been sadly removed “for violating YouTube’s Terms of Service.” The video focused on the fact that the Pixel Pro will now be available in two sizes for the first time. It also confirms Google’s ongoing commitment to software updates: the company promises seven years of Pixel Feature Drops.

There’s also a quick look at Pixel Screenshots, which will let you easily search through any previously saved screenshots. Of course, Google is also touting “Pro-level” cameras on the two Pro models, complete with Super Res Video Zoom and a new AI Add Me feature that lets you take two group photos and then stitch them together with the magic of AI.

This ensures that everyone is in the resulting image and that the person taking the photo isn’t left out. Google’s Gemini also gets a lot of screen time, as you’d expect in 2024, with AI being the main buzzword in the tech world.

Finally, we have another leaked video, this time focusing on the “vanilla” Pixel 9. At the time of publication, this one has not yet been removed from YouTube, but we wouldn’t be surprised if it eventually meets the same fate as the other one.

This replaces Add Me with Magic Editor which uses AI to “reimagine” your shots and also boasts about how the phone has a “durable design”, whatever that means. Otherwise it’s pretty similar, as it should be considering it’s all part of the same ad campaign.
