Google is gearing up to launch at least four Pixel 9 phones, and today we got confirmation of the names of the two new flagships.
One of these will be called the Pixel 9 Pro XL, while the other will be the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, according to Canada’s Radio Equipment List (REL), a comprehensive publication of all radio equipment certified for use in the North American country.

Pixel 9 Pro XL and Pro Fold on REL
The Pixel 9 Pro XL is expected to be the successor to the Pixel 8 Pro, the largest member of the existing lineup. The last time we had an XL phone was in 2019, when we had the Pixel 4 XL.
We expect something similar to happen now: the Pixel 9 Pro XL will be a larger version of the Pixel 9 Pro, which will be a new addition to the lineup.

The other phone, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, is simply the successor to the Pixel Fold; now it’s just been renamed to bring it in line with the rest of the family.
