Honor used the ongoing Snapdragon Summit 2023 to announce that the upcoming Magic6 series will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

Magic6 will leverage the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3’s built-in generative AI language models to power a new personal assistant called YOYO. The large language model will be able to use up to 7 billion parameters and being on-device, it will not need to send any personal data remotely to work. This means you’ll be able to ask your personal assistant to answer questions, create short videos with photos and videos stored on your device, and it will be able to give you answers specific to you.

The other innovation is called Magic Capsule, a multimodal eye-tracking interaction powered by Snapdragon Seamless technology.

Honor has not yet provided information on the timing of the Magic6 announcement, but we would expect it to arrive before March, when the Magic5 series launched.
