This morning, Huawei just released a teaser for its next flagship foldout. The Mate Xs 2 will be launched on April 28 with the slogan “Folding flagship and the latest product launch event” (translated automatically). The Weibo the post leads with “The” face “worth seeing”.

The event will take place at 7pm on the day of the launch event in China. Based on the teaser poster published by Huawei. The Mate Xs successor may feature an updated hinge mechanism. We hope Huawei addresses a couple of things from our Mate Xs review, such as improving battery life and feeling the device less like a prototype and more like a refined product.

Huawei Mate Xs (2020)
MyFixGuide claims that a recently listed Huawei 4G PAL-AL00 phone could be the Mate Xs 2. This listing showed a Kirin 9000 chipset and a Harmony OS.
The Huawei Mate Xs launched nearly two years ago, so it will be interesting to see how far Huawei has gone to great lengths to improve its flagship foldable device. It is likely, however, that we will not see the launch of this device outside of China.
