Infinix just made headlines with the Infinix Ultra Zero teaser, allegedly the company’s first phone with a 200MP camera (and also the first with 180W fast charging, an improvement over the Note 12 VIP’s 120W) . The company has another phone with an impressive camera in the works.
According to our source, one of the upcoming Zero phones will be the first on the market to have a 60MP front camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). Selfie cameras with OIS are very rare and the highest resolution you can get right now is on the 2021 vivo V21 (and V21 5G) with a 44MP sensor.

This Infinix Zero phone will presumably become the first to have a 60MP selfie camera with OIS
There are unconfirmed reports that the new iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max have OIS selfie cameras, but other than that no 2022 model offers this feature at any resolution (this year’s vivo V23 phones have dropped the OIS and some instead they added an ultra-wide module).
Our source also sent us spy shots of one of the upcoming Infinix Zero models, which sports a display with strongly curved sides. We’re not 100% sure if these photos show the phone in question with a 60MP OIS front camera – the design is similar to what we’ve seen in the leaked images of the Zero Ultra. However, we think they are different phones as the Ultra is rumored to have a 32MP front camera.
Either way, Infinix has officially scheduled the Zero Ultra for its October 5th presentation and there is a chance this Zero model will join it.
