The iQOO Z7 that we have been hearing about for more than a week will be launched on March 21 in India. This revelation comes from the CEO of iQOO India, Mr. Nipun Marya, who, in an interview with gadget360has also divulged some specifications of the upcoming Z-series smartphone.
Marya said the iQOO Z7 is “designed exclusively for the Indian market” and will include an “ultra-bright AMOLED display” with a fingerprint scanner underneath. A teaser video recently shared by iQOO has revealed that the Z7’s display will have a U-shaped notch. However, its diagonal and resolution are yet to be officially confirmed.

The iQOO Z7 will be powered by the Dimension 920 SoC and will feature a 64MP main camera with OIS. The smartphone will run Funtouch OS 13 out of the box, and powering the whole package will be a 5,000mAh battery with 44W charging, claimed by Marya to go from 1% to 50% in 25 minutes.
The Z7 will be sold through Amazon.in and will have a base price below ₹20,000 ($245/€230) in India. A teaser video posted by iQOO on Twitter revealed the arrival of iQOO Z7 blue and black, but we don’t have any confirmation on its memory options yet.
