Earlier today, Xiaomi confirmed its plans to launch a new Windows ultrabook at the Redmi Note 12 series launch event on October 27, and now Chinese online retailer JD.com has the Xiaomi Book Air 13 listed for the complete reservation of its main specifications.

The detailed data sheet reveals that the laptop will be equipped with a 13.3-inch OLED touchscreen with a resolution of 2880 x 1800 pixels and a 16:10 aspect ratio. The panel will support a 60Hz refresh rate and will house a camera of unknown resolution. Xiaomi Book Air 13 is configurable with a 12 generation Intel U series Core-i5 or Core-i7 CPU along with 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of storage.
The most impressive specification is the size of the laptop – it is only 12mm thick and weighs just 1.2kg. The listing confirms a full-sized keyboard although no mention is made of whether it will be backlit. Other specs include Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity and two Thunderbolt ports.
It looks like the laptop will also carry a fingerprint sensor on the right side. The battery is rated at 58.3 Wh with a 65W Type-C power supply included. With all this information available, we can only wait for details on pricing and availability for the Xiaomi Book Air 13 at Thursday’s big event.
