Last we heard, the Realme GT Neo 6 was certified in China with two distinct model numbers: RMX3820 and RMX3823. Initially, we thought that one might be related to a vanilla Realme GT Neo 6 with Dimensity 9200 chipset, while the other to a Pro version with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Now more specifications have been published by a certificate authority for both model numbers, and both appear to be running on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, based on reported maximum CPU frequency of 3.2GHz.

The difference between the two models appears to be the battery capacity and the supposed charging speed. If this is true, we could see a Realme GT Neo 6 with a 4,600mAh battery and the same massive 240W charging as the GT Neo 5, and another version with a 5,200mAh battery and 150W charging. That’s interesting Note that according to the published specifications, both variants of the phone measure exactly the same dimensions: 163.13 x 75.38 x 8.86 mm and both weigh 205 grams.

Beyond the chipset and battery, we currently think the Realme GT Neo 6 will feature a 6.67-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and 2160Hz PWM dimming. It reportedly has 8,12 or 16GB of RAM and 128,256,512GB or 1TB of storage. The primary camera should be a 50MP IMX890 unit with OIS, flanked by an 8MP ultrawide and an additional 2MP snapper. On the front: a 16 MP selfie. As per the sources, the GT Neo 6 will also sport an IR blaster and a haptic motor on the x-axis and will come with Android 13.

Since the two models are now certified, the launch is clearly around the corner, and we will be following Realme’s social channels closely for the official announcement.
