As per tradition, Qualcomm will hold a Snapdragon Summit in Maui, Hawaii, but this time it will be brought forward by about a month compared to last year. As far as we know, the chip will feature a new one 1+5+2 architecture instead of 1+2+2+3 used in the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Gen 2 series.

The SoC is said to run on 1 Cortex-X4 prime core paired with 5 Cortex-A720 cores and 2 Cortex-A620 cores and an Adreno 750 GPU, promising a significant performance boost. The CPU pack will also upgrade its L3 cache from 8MB to 10MB.

Digital chat station a well-known Chinese whistleblower, says that Xiaomi 14 series will be the first to use Qualcomm’s new flagship chip in November with vivo X100 series, iQOO 12 series, Redmi K70 series, OnePlus 12 and Realme GT5 to follow the example in the months to come.
