Realme Q5 Pro debuts with an 80W charging, vanilla Q5 tag together

Realme introduced the Q5i earlier this week, and now two more family members have been announced: Realme Q5 and Realme Q5 Pro.

The Realme Q5 has a 6.6-inch LCD display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a resolution of 1080p. There is a hole in the upper left corner for the 16MP f / 2.1 selfie camera.

There are three other cameras on the back. The alignment is the same as the Realme 9 Pro (as well as the rest of the body), but the sensors behind the lenses are different. We have a 50MP main shooter, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth shooter.

The Snapdragon 695 5G and 5,000mAh battery are also borrowed from the 9 Pro, as is the side-mounted fingerprint scanner. However, Realme Q5 offers faster 60W SuperDart charging.

The phone will boot with Android 12 and Realme UI 3.0. It is currently available for pre-order in China in three colors: Silver, Gold and Black, with sales scheduled to start on April 27th. Prices are CNY1,399 ($ ​​220) for the 6/128 GB version, CNY1,599 ($ ​​250) for 8/128 GB and CNY 1,799 ($ ​​280) for 8/256 GB.

The Realme Q5 Pro borrows the display, battery capacity and overall design from the Realme GT2.

The 6.62-inch AMOLED with 120Hz refresh rate has a fingerprint scanner underneath and a 16MP selfie camera in the upper left corner.

On the back is a 64MP main camera, along with an 8MP ultrawide snapper and a 2MP macro shooter. The chipset here is the relatively old, but still capable Snapdragon 870.

Realme Q5 Pro

The significant change implemented by Realme in the Q5 Pro is the 80W fast charging for the 5,000mAh battery. This is among the fastest in the company’s portfolio, behind only the revolutionary GT Neo3.

There is a black color option with 6/128 GB memory which costs CNY1,899 ($ ​​300). There are yellow and white variants with a checkered flag design for CNY 2,099 ($ ​​325) or CNY 2,299 ($ ​​360), as they are only available in 8 / 128GB and 8 / 256GB options.

Realme also offers a limited edition retail box branded with the characters from the Time Agent anime. Includes 8/128 GB yellow phone, protective case, Realmeow keychain, some stickers and collectible cards. The price of the whole package is CNY2,299 ($ ​​360).
