Samsung recently kicked off updates to Android 14 with One UI 6 on top, and if we go by what happened last year, once the ball starts rolling, it doesn’t stop until dozens of models are updated in a question. of weeks.
So far the S23 and S22 families have already received the Android 14 version and today it’s time for other devices to join them. The Galaxy A54, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Flip5, and Galaxy Z Fold5 will all receive the update starting now.
The A54 update launches first on AT&T in the US. On the other hand, the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5 are getting their first taste from Verizon in the US. The Galaxy S23 FE launch appears to be more global, but so far it only affects models powered by Samsung’s Exynos SoC. The American model with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 still has some waiting to do.
Now that these updates are available at least on one carrier or another, or in one country or the other, they will come very quickly to all carriers and all unlocked units in all countries, don’t worry. As usual in these cases, the rollouts may be gradual, so don’t panic if you haven’t received an update notification yet – it should be arriving soon.
