Samsung pushed One UI 5.1 to its 2022 flagships just last week, and now it’s ready to bring the firmware to older foldable devices. Our Galaxy Z Fold3 unit received a software update notification, bringing a 1406.51MB package with some new features, including access to Expert RAW from the Camera app and better multitasking.

A 5.1 UI changelog
The Galaxy Z Fold3 is a device best known for its incredibly advanced multi-window mode, and Samsung has now made it easier to minimize or go full screen with One UI 5.1. Below you can access the most used apps in split screen, such as a toolbar, and there are also some improvements for DeX users.
The update also brings more routine actions, changing wallpapers based on modes, improved weather widgets, and more features within the Gallery app, including improved image remastering.
The software update has version number F926BXXU3EWB1 / F926BOXM3EWB1 / F926BXXU3EWB1 and also carries the latest security patch, dated February 2023. EU devices are expected to be first in line for the update, but more are expected to follow very soon.

We also learned that the Galaxy A series has jumped the One UI 5.1 train. Reports are that the global version of the Galaxy A73 is receiving software just three months after upgrading to One UI 5.0.
Next in line should be the international Galaxy A33 and Galaxy A53, as the Korean versions had already been updated.
