Independent brand Nothing will introduce Phone (2) today. The event will be hosted by Carl Pei, the company’s CEO, and Casey Neistat, a YouTube personality and vlogger, and will kick off at 4pm BST, which is 3pm UTC.
The Nothing Phone (2) is expected to keep its predecessor’s aesthetics with a transparent back and the Glyph interface which is expected to feature 11 segmented LED strips with 33 lighting zones, a big increase over the Phone (1) over the last year .
Spec-wise, the new device is getting a high-end Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. It will have a slightly larger 6.7-inch display, which would make room for a larger 4,700mAh battery. The new device is also expected to reduce its carbon footprint by 10% and use more recycled materials, including the aluminum central frame.
Nothing Phone (2) was leaked
