Xiaomi is preparing to launch the 14 series by the end of 2023 and the company has already certified one of the smartphones on 3C. China Compulsory Certification (CCC) has approved a phone with the model number 23127PN0CC, which is said to be the vanilla Xiaomi 14, with 90W fast charging.

The smartphone will have an output power of 5-20V at 6.1-4.5A, i.e. 90W max. This will be possible with the Xiaomi MDY-14-EC charger, which also supports speeds up to 90W, but the big question is whether the company will provide the adapter in the retail package.
In early 2022 it shipped the Xiaomi 13 with the charger, but only in international markets: in China, users had to choose whether they wanted the charger bundled separately because it wasn’t in the box.

Xiaomi 13 arrived with a 67W charger in the retail package
The 90W charging speed is nothing new for Xiaomi in general, but it will be a huge step forward for the vanilla flagship. The previous two versions had 67W wired charging, while the 13 Pro and 12 Pro came with 120W.
This raises a valid question as to whether Xiaomi will increase the charging speed of the 14 Pro, something we should learn in the coming weeks when the device will inevitably be certified as well.
