The Xiaomi Smart Band 9 was made official a few months ago and today it received a sibling: the Smart Band 9 Pro. Like previous Pro versions of Xiaomi’s best-selling line of wearables, this one has a larger and squarer screen than the Smart Non-Pro bands.
The display of the Smart Band 9 Pro has a diameter of 1.74 inches, obviously AMOLED, with 336×480 resolution and peak brightness of 1,200 nits. The entire wearable measures 43.27 x 32.49 x 10.8mm and weighs 24.5g thanks to the aluminum alloy body.

It is water resistant up to 5 ATM and has a 350 mAh battery that can last up to 21 days of use. It has built-in NFC, along with Bluetooth 5.4 and GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and QZSS support. It is compatible with smartphones running Android 8 and later, as well as iPhones running iOS 12 and later.
Like any device of this type, Smart Band 9 Pro measures heart rate, blood oxygen level, stress and also analyzes sleep. There are over 150 sports modes to choose from, including improved tracking for running and swimming.

The Smart Band 9 Pro starts at CNY 399 ($56), while the quick-release magnetic bands are priced at CNY 169 ($23) and the quick-release leather bands are priced at CNY 99 ($13).
The Watch S4 has a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with 466×466 resolution and 2,200 nits peak brightness and a user-replaceable bezel. It also has 5 ATM water resistance and over 150 sports modes.

The watch is available in two versions, one of which has eSIM support. It measures 47.3 x 47.3 x 12 mm and weighs 44.5 g. It has Bluetooth 5.3 and supports the same satellite positioning systems and phone operating systems as the Smart Band 9 Pro.
Like that product, it also monitors your heart rate, blood oxygen level, and stress. The watch also has built-in running training and AI-powered route planning (whatever that means). Dual-mode walkie-talkie function and eSIM support allow you to listen to music and make calls without your phone.

You can reply to messages, send emojis and control Xiaomi smart home devices directly from the watch. In China you can also use it as an NFC key for your car. The S4 Watch starts at CNY 999 ($140).
This launch event was only for the Chinese market, so we don’t yet know when these devices will hit international markets, but we’ll let you know as soon as we find out.
