EA and Respawn Entertainment have announced that the Apex Legends battle royale game will receive another collection event next week to coincide with the launch of the Nintendo Switch version.

According to a blog post on the upcoming Chaos Theory event, it will include a brand new playlist in the form of Ring Fury and Caustic Town Takeover. Players will also have access to a new collection of cosmetic items to equip in the game.

The Collection of Chaos Theories Event will start on March 9th and run until March 23rd, giving players two weeks to enjoy limited-time bonuses and activities.

The Ring Fury playlist is a variation of the main battle royale game. The biggest difference is that smaller rings can spawn within the battlefield, which will slowly expand and also cause the player as much damage as they would if they were out of the designated area.

Meanwhile, the Caustic Town acquisition will see the water treatment plant swapped with the caustic treatment plant, with players serving as test subjects for Caustic. By draining the toxic liquid from the facility, users can access special gold rewards for a limited time.

During the event, players can collect tokens which can then be used to unlock some of the new cosmetics. Respawn also adds a “no fill” option for matchmaking, allowing solo players to join matches without a team.
