In the leaked game trailer, the narrator says, “I can only imagine what prompts you to search for the Elden Ring. I guess you can’t convince yourself to go back. Very well then!”
On Twitter, reporter Jeff Grubb stated that the footage is actually from 2020. But since fans have received so little information since Elden Ring was announced in 2019, even a blurry and outdated trailer is enough to get the talk. people.
The game was originally intended to be more of a traditional fantasy game. But subsequent developments made it clear that this game was now inspired by titles like Dark Souls.
Aside from the exciting gameplay, the game seems to have a killer history. game of Thrones screenwriter George RR Martin helped consult the game’s lore and general narrative. Between challenging gameplay, gripping story, and the direction of legendary Hidetaka Miyazaki, it looks like this is going to be something special.
Unfortunately, development of the game was pushed back due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. And while the trailer is enough to create hype once again, it’s unlikely this game will be out anytime in 2021.
