The original Titanfall helped redefine the way gamers and developers think about first person shooters. But now Respawn has pulled that game off the digital storefronts.
Previously, players could purchase digital copies of the game for both PC and Xbox. Now, however, the only way to play is to get a physical copy. Alternatively, if you own EA Play and Xbox Game Pass, you will still be able to access the game until March 1, 2022.
Respawn announced on Twitter:
Why would you want to keep logging into the game, though? This is the good news: despite withdrawing copies from digital storefronts, Respawn will keep the servers online for those who want to play.
What’s the bad news? While this has not been confirmed by Respawn, many players assume they have snatched the game from these stores due to persistent DDoS attacks which made it nearly impossible to enjoy online gaming via PC.
