Fans of the franchise have been waiting and now they can rejoice. Total War: Warhammer 3 has been announced and you can watch the trailer below. Although the exact release date is not yet known, Steam lists the game for a release in late 2021. Warhammer 3 will also be available via the Epic Games Store.
This game will conclude the trilogy of titles set in World of Warhammer Fantasy Battles. Once again, players will encounter numerous races from this familiar universe. And the latest title will finally show us Kislev and Cathay as part of the Chaos faction.
Developer Creative Assembly promises this final installment will be more impressive than anything fans of the franchise have ever experienced before. The game features a campaign mode in which players must make a choice: save a god from certain death or use his powers to their advantage.
Playing with different races will give you different glimpses of the Kingdom of Chaos and the general story. But regardless of who you play, the climax of the story will permanently alter the fate of the world.
