Not only did you beat me to the punch on making an improved mod, your mod has much more than what I was working on.
Also, it works on Android 7, 9, 12, 13, 15, both internal AND external storage!

honestly - its very simple to mod
but the main problem you talked about still exists (which will be also the problem with the pinball arcade mod) needs to be solved !
datainjection hooking is still a "lottery" on some hardware and android systems - and this problem will just be ignored in many modders places

It all stems from Google not wanting device owners to have access to there own DATA.
For your safety, Google is going to tell you what you can or cannot do.
Also, as I explained, it's about manufacturers not wanting you to be able to upgrade devices and force purchasing newer devices.
This need by corporations to control your property for their profit is revolting.

Mods that both work and do not.

With over 14 million different devices running Android OS's from 1-16, it's truly a miracle anything works from device to device. Throw in some modded code and you never know. It can be very frustrating for modders when a game/app mod works perfectly for them but nobody else, or it works for...
