Oh man, where do I even start with the Exploding Kittens app?
This game is an absolute riot! It's like they took the craziness of the card game and cranked it up to eleven. I downloaded it on a whim after seeing some hilarious reviews, and let me tell you, it's been worth every second!
First off, the art style is just as quirky and fun as you'd expect if you've ever played the physical card game. It's filled with all those bizarre cats doing their weird thing, and it cracks me up every time.
The animations add so much life to the game, and I find myself giggling like a kid whenever something silly happens on screen.
Playing online with friends is where it's at. Seriously, it’s like a party in your pocket! You can play with random people too, but there's something extra special about blowing up your bestie with a well-timed Exploding Kitten. The thrill when you’re down to the last few cards and everyone is on edge is unmatched. I’ve had countless late-night sessions where we’re all just shouting at each other through the phone.
It’s chaotic but oh-so-fun!
Oh, and the sound effects! They’re on point. Like, I honestly think they add a whole new layer to the experience. I read this review from another player who said they love how each card has its own unique sound. It’s the little things, right?
