Basic Overview

Story & Setup
You begin the game as a modern-world person who finds themselves expelled from the modern world into a novel. You occupy the body of a “minor villainess” who is on her way to marry the enigmatic “Duke of the North”.
The mission: get the Duke to fall for you. Sounds straightforward, right? But there are twists. Is this world real? Is everything a dream? Do you want to stay or go back? The game’s tone teases these questions.
Some additional clarifications from the devs:
- Although you “occupy the body of a minor villainess”, you do not have to play “evil”. The dev states: “MC doesn’t act like a villainess … there’s no reason or need for her to act or pretend to be someone else … she can connect with them as herself.”
- Also: in any of the endings, you don’t return to your home world. The dev emphasises: “MC … never returns to her ‘home world’ in any of the endings.”
Characters & Relationships
Some of the main characters you’ll meet:
- Duke of the North: Your betrothed. Cold and stoic reputation (“untamable beast”), but there’s something softer underneath.
- Roy Venn Varley: The Duke’s advisor. On the surface nice, but there’s toxicity lurking.
- Kal Umnia: A holy paladin, the Duke’s personal knight. Devout, but with a sharp mouth.
- Zofia and Cassandra: Two maids in your service. One serious and knowledgeable, the other elegant with an excitable side.
- Kid: The mascot/guide character. Foul-mouthed, rude, snarky—but you’re not alone! Adds humour and flavour.

- Dual-mode interaction: you can interact in two different selectable ways (impacting flavour of scenes).
- Story with both plot-affecting choices and flavour choices (i.e., choices that change the tone, character reactions, but perhaps less the core path).
- Multiple endings (5 “ending” achievements) so replay-value.
- Visual assets: ~18 CGs + additional CGs in the Spicy version (4 additional scenes + 5 extra CGs) above the standard version.
- You can toggle off explicit scenes (so it appears there is a SFW version / or one can avoid NSFW) though this is the Spicy version.

Tone & Style
The game blends romance, fantasy, a bit of slice-of-life, and some self-aware humour (especially via the guide “Kid”). The protagonist is thrust into an unfamiliar world but must adapt and survive—not just through combat or power, but through social/romantic interaction.

- The story is isekai-adjacent (you’re expelled from your world into another). Some players worry about “return to home world” endings. The dev states you don’t return.
- The “villainess” trope is present in prose (you occupy the villainess’s body) but you don’t need to play as villainous. The dev clarifies you don’t pretend or act as someone else.
- As with many VNs, story pacing matters: you may need to explore multiple routes/endings to see the full picture.
