On September 6 last year, Qualcomm announced the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1, a new mid-range chipset that will be used by the upcoming Honor X50. The phone is expected to be made official in China on July 5, and ahead of the unveiling today, a prototype was spotted in Geekbench’s online database, after being put through its paces with the benchmark.

As you can see, the unit in question scored a single-core score of 606 and a multi-core score of 2,484. The Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC has a CPU with four cores of 1.8GHz and four cores of 2.2GHz and an Adreno 710 GPU.

The prototype that ran the benchmark has 12GB of RAM on board and is running Android 13. It should have the latest Magic UI skin on top.

According to previously leaked information from Chinese certification authorities, the Honor X50 has a 6.78-inch 1200×2652 120Hz AMOLED screen with a built-in fingerprint scanner, an 8MP selfie shooter, a 108 MP and a 2MP decorative lens of some sort (depth or macro).

The device is said to be offered with 8 and 16GB of RAM along with the 12GB model that has been priced.
