Android 14 up got very stupid with killing apps to conserve battery life, ignoring user settings, ignoring battery condition, even killing the launcher at times!

If you have kept up with DONTKILLMYAPPS and you tried all suggested methods of unrestricted use and the OS is still killing apps, then a low level solution is required. This can be done using a risky rooted hack or a much safer way by using ADB.
Many people however don't have a PC to do ADB, and that is where this app is amazing.

After installing and launching the app, use this command to list all packages installed :

In order to whitelist an app use this command :

cmd deviceidle whitelist +
Followed by the package to be protected.
e.g. cmd deviceidle whitelist +com.mixplorer

Do so for every app you don't want the OS to kill.
When done, reboot the device. You can simply enter, reboot, into ADB.

Hint:
I copy/pasted the list of apps into a text editor, then deleted all apps that don't need to be running full time.
I then replaced the package: with cmd deviceidle whitelist +
Next, I copy/pasted the edited list into ADB and batch added all the apps I wanted white listed.

Setting up your .bash_profile
Finally, to make this all reusable even after rebooting your computer (aliases only last through the current session), we have to add these to your .bash_profile. You might or might not already have a .bash_profile, so let’s make sure we append to it rather than overwriting it. Just open a terminal, and run the following command

touch .bash_profile && open .bash_profile

This will create it if it doesn’t already exist, and open it in a text editor either way. Now just copy and paste all of the aliases into it, save, and close.
