I have to play offline to avoid being banned, even if I'm careful. You should do the same. Reinstall the apk to reset progress and start again.

Make sure you uninstall the original version of the game first

What's your device model? Android OS version? The game installed fine on 3/3 devices here.

Nevermind I found the issue ! Play protect was refraining me from installing it. For any future user dealing with this issue, using an apk signer or just disabling Play Protect in the Play store while you install the mod will do the trick.
