OnePlus 11, which is currently the flagship device of the Chinese company, was launched in January. Its successor is already in the works, it seems, and unsurprisingly it will be called the OnePlus 12.
According to a new leak from a usually reliable source, the OnePlus 12 will be launched in China in December. The “in China” qualifier matters because the global release could happen a few weeks (or months) later.
One Plus 11
The phone is currently in tech champ form and in this form it sports the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset at the helm, a 6.7-inch QHD OLED touchscreen with 120Hz refresh rate, and a 5,000mAh battery with support for 100W fast cable charging.
The OnePlus 12 has three rear cameras: a 50MP main, a 50MP ultrawide and a 64MP periscope zoom camera, which would be a first in the OnePlus lineup, though definitely not a first for parent company Oppo. Other than that, there doesn’t appear to be many exciting hardware upgrades at first glance – the screen is the same size as its predecessor, with the same resolution and refresh rate, and the use of the next-gen chip is pretty much on par.
