If you are using the premium version, do not hit "Optimize" because thats going to happen. You can also manually remove the pokemons you dont want to have in the fight. Heck, you can even do the stage with no pokemons if u want to.

Hey mate so I did some trial and error on this:

You have to transfer code the game from a different device onto the modded APK. So get through tutorials on your phone and then transfer the game to the android emulator or from a different device. Did the trick for me!
