  This free and open source Internet Relay Chat client is the best made for Android. Unfortunately, development for the official build ceased over a year ago and the last release was for Android 11.

  The developer also took most of the free features and made them pay to use. That's bad
  
  I have combined the two to create an unofficial release that works with Android 13 up.

  Due to issues with custom imported themes and backups in the official 5x builds, I have removed those buggy features that could crash the app.
  
  Note: If you already have an older version installed, backup your data and uninstall.
  It will create a zip file like
  irc-client-backup-2024-09-03
  
  Unzip it, go into the Servers folder
  Locate a json file similar to this
  server-85d789c2-544e-4f96-be64-f3e8d3217958.json
  Open it with any text viewer.
  All of your information will be there.
  
  Uninstall the old version and install the new replacement.
  You will have to enter the information back in manually.
