Well, I'd imagine that if the mod were updated to the current version of it's clean counterpart, that would fix the issue of it auto-updating, lol!!

In the meantime, I've been launching this game via another app called Parallel Space (free to get from Google or iTunes playstores), which clones any app or game and launches it with a different IP address than the one your device uses. It's also great for games which you really enjoyed playing, but got a ban placed on your account. This works for this mod, if you turn on Speed Mode in the settings for Parallel Space, which disables Google Play Services (that will disrupt the game checking with Google Play), only for those games/apps which are launched from Parallel Space. Hope that helps!

@Debby I'm unable to get the mod to work for havked IAPs. All it says when I try to select a tribe that's locked is to go online to purchase from Google play store; regardless of if I am online or not... Hoping that an update of the mod (which I shall properly request) will sort it out. Thank you!

After trying to post a request to update this mod, I discovered that it is already updated to the playstore version. Finding this odd since I get a message that it needs to be updated, I go ahead and install the game via playstore and the get a patched version with LP on my device. Upon relaunching the patched version, the game refuses to load, and again prompts me to get the latest version from Google Play store. There is seemingly something in the app that knows when it has been installed from any other source besides Google Play store. I can't figure out how to get around this...
