Whereas I agree that voting that way will likely draw the modder's attention to this post, it will be ire rather than helpfulness. The modders on this site are pretty strict about the guidelines and formats for requesting a mod or update, and this modder set up those parameters, so I would guess it's wise to follow them. Actually, I wonder if this display of apathy for those rules (not only erroneous voting, but also the repeated requests both here where they don't belong, and in the proper section) might not be the very reason for the delay of any update; if one is even forthcoming.I thought I can just change my vote once it's fixed. I think voting "no it doesn't work" is a good way to get the modder's attention that something is wrong.
No I cannot direct you to it; and I don't believe you can miss that which is not there to start. I suppose the admin and staff for this site must have thought that how to vote appropriately in a poll was common sense enough that it may not require explicit instructions. But, at least, they're now aware that such a thread would be helpful, for certain members, that just don't get it. Thanks for the tip!!Can you direct me to the voting guidelines? I think I missed it.
