If you don’t know, Samsung is relaunching the Galaxy S21 FE 2022 for India by replacing the original Exynos 2100 chipset with a Snapdragon 888. Virtually every detail about the new device has already been leaked and last we heard the handset could be unveiled officially on July 10th. As of this writing, the official Samsung website in India still has the S21 FE 2023 as “coming soon”. In the meantime, however, it turns out that the phone can already be purchased in physical stores.

The price is the same as before at ₹50,000, but this time the base variant comes with 256GB of storage instead of 128GB. This means that technically the S23 FE 2023 offers some kind of discount compared to the original model.
The color selection is the only other difference between the original model and the S21 FE 2023. The new device is available in Olive, Graphite and Lavender, just like before. There is now a new Navy Blue color, replacing the White option.
Other than that, nothing else has changed in the hardware of the device other than the chipset. This means a 6.4″ 120Hz display, an AMOLED FHD+ panel, a 12MP main camera, 12MP ultra-wide angle and 8MP (3x) rear camera, as well as a 32MP selfie camera. The battery it has a capacity of 4,500mAh and supports 25W wired and 15W wireless charging.

One question remains, however: whether the 2023 S21 FE will launch with Android 12 or Android 13, and as a result whether it will receive an additional OS update over the original S21 FE. We’ll just have to wait and see.
