Heres the screen when i open the game. Then i get an error message. Yes i installed apk first. But the zip file contains only 2 items: main and patch. Is it correct?

I think you didn't copy obb files correctly
It should be sdcard/Android/obb/com.square_enix.android_googleplay.chrono/main.204000.com.square_enix.android_googleplay.chrono.obb
Be sure there's not another folder in between and yes, copy main file and patch there

I was able to copy it properly but i dont know whats the problem. Are we supposed to get the screen where im prompted to download?

If the game don't find files it will ask to download. Normally, if obb files are correctly copied, it shouldn't ask and load the game. Did you launch game before copying obb files ?
It should be on internal memory by the way. Rename obb folder like on this pic.

It finally worked with me! Try turning off your wifi connection or mobile data before launching the app.

I'm glad it worked for you. I tried everything lol, turning off wi-fi too but then it says connection lost. I will try again until I give up.

Hi! Its not working for me. Huhu. Need help. I extracted it. Then i copied the folder to obb folder but still not working

You need to install the game before placing the obb. Otherwise it'll get removed. And don't open the game before placing the obb.
