A few notes and feedbacks for future reference and help:

• This game does NOT come with any PairIP protections, and there's no libpairipcore.so in the original game, hence any tools you used which reported having removed PairIP are simply reporting false information
• Removing Facebook means, if the game has the possibility to sync your progresses, using the mod you won't be able to load, save or sync your progresses anymore. Altough hated by some, you may want to preserve this functionality on next updates
• Access to your contacts, phone number, photos or other personal information does not automatically mean that an app is spyware. Many mobile games request such permissions for legitimate reasons — for example, to save and load your progress to internal storage, access your media files for screenshots or custom avatars, or manage in-game social features.

This game does NOT come with any PairIP protections

Okay, so it seems like the default report for unknown encryption is to assume PairIP and since it removes the same there's no reason to split hairs unless looking in depth.

A deeper scan reveals mbed crypto.
As for libpairipcore.so, as many modders and tools are discovered, newer version of PairIP no longer has the library and can now pass detection. I have covered how the only way to detect is to decompile and manually examine for code.

Sbenny is correct that removing Facebook and such takes away some functions, so this is why I say this is offline version.

Sbenny is also correct that some apps use spy functions to benefit and not harm.
Just as analytics were made to help developers address bugs and crashes.
However, a simple game like this has no reason to do so.
Looking at simple code directory we see APPLOVIN, BYTEDANCE, TIKTOK, VUNGLE

These are some of the most abusive and dangerous malware used in analytics and spying and theft of personal information.
In this case I feel that the removal is justified.

I've not had anyone say to me yet that they want the malware put back into a game.

I'm afraid there's lack of enough information in what you call spyware/malware, or there's overall confusion.

Applovin is an ad network often used for ad-mediation, vungle is another ad network. They're long-term and well-established ad networks, exactly like AdMob, Unity ads etc. I'd not call them spy functions if they track user activity and cookies for targeted ad displaying, or you would call spyware YouTube and Google as well?

By definition, a spyware is a malicious software that secretly installs on your computer or device to collect your personal information and online activity without your knowledge or consent.

That's why when you launch a game nowadays you see an info box showing you which data is collected and what's their purpose. You also have the possibility to opt-out or leave only strictly required cookies enabled.

This is fully compliant with GDPR as well.

I write all this for clarity and context, as using strong words like spyware or malware needs proper explaining, and this isn't definitely the case with this game (like many other).
