Edit: Sorry guys, the below no longer works. Not sure what the woman was blabbering about the other app, but you aren't able to transfer progress made from this version to any other versions of this app, mod-wise.

Please make sure you connect this game to a Social Media/Google Play account. THEN you should be able to play a legit version of the game from the Play Store, WITH the same account. Try it. It's worked before. Just make sure you connect your Social Networking account *first* before using the hack, because if you do it after, then you'll have to log out because it won't carry over.
