@originie you can login with facebook, just make sure to uninstall your facebook app (temporarily) in order to let the app login to facebook via Browser and not via app.

@DarthVoda it could be that after loggin-in with facebook, you load your facebook amount of gems and tickets, so they do override the modded ones. Try with a new facebook account (with no game data), linking to it AFTER installing the mod. It should work.
